These diseases interfere with your ability to live freely. To put it differently, you would spend your time, energy, and resources battling these medical conditions instead of doing other things in life. Additionally, being overweight means that you cannot wear the clothes you want.

It may also affect you emotionally and psychologically. Fortunately, you can avoid most of these difficulties through proper dieting and exercise. In fact, taking up apple cider vinegar is an excellent idea because it helps you fight weight gain in unique ways.

How Does Apple Cider Vinegar Help You Lose Weight?

It is important to note that consuming this liquid will not help you lose weight overnight. Additionally, the consumption of apple cider vinegar is not a substitute for healthy living. Rather, this liquid accelerates your weight loss process if you combine it with a balanced diet and regular exercise.

Unfortunately, many people fail to realize how it could hasten their weight loss process.

For instance, did you know that apple cider vinegar reduces the level of sugar in your blood?

It also lowers the insulin to glucagon ratio in your body encouraging the breakdown of accumulated fat. This breakdown reduces the amount of fat stored in your body.

How to Use It for Weight Loss

How to Make It

The process of making apple cider vinegar is almost universal i.e. it has little variations. You simply crush apples and then squeeze the juice of them. Then you add yeast and harmless bacteria to the liquid. These organisms are responsible for the fermentation process i.e. turning the sugars in the juice into alcohol. Then the liquid undergoes a second fermentation process where bacteria known as acetobacter turn the fermented liquid into vinegar.

Different Varieties of Apple Cider Vinegar

The organic version contains a substance known as ‘mother of vinegar.’ This substance is full of nutrients and harmless bacteria. It collects at the bottom of the bottle so you might have to shake the bottle before you use the apple cider vinegar. Inorganic versions of this liquid lack this substance and as such, they are clear of any sediments at the bottom of the bottle. You can also find pasteurized and unpasteurized apple cider vinegar. Pasteurization is the heating of liquid to extreme levels to kill pathogenic bacteria. Unfortunately, doing so might kill some of the nutrients as well.

How to Drink It

Apple cider vinegar has a sour taste because it contains acetic and malic acid. It means you cannot do drink as you would drink any other liquid. More importantly, it has a significant impact on your body so moderation in consumption is advisable. For example, drink it two or three times a day. Increasing this daily intake is possible, but only after your body acclimatizes to it.

You can consume it before or after a meal. Most people prefer drinking it after a meal because it helps them control their cravings for additional food. Take two teaspoons of it and put it in eight ounces of water. You can add some honey for additional flavor. Using a straw to drink this mixture is advisable because acids in the vinegar can damage your teeth enamel. Alternatively, you can rinse your mouth after consuming it.

Drinking It with Something Else

You can reduce the sour taste of apple cider vinegar by mixing it with another liquid other than water. For example, you can immerse it in coffee, juice, or tea. You should note that these liquids are acidic just as apple cider vinegar is. Remember, increased levels of acidity are harmful to your teeth.

You can remove these acidic elements from your mouth by rinsing it with a mixture of water and baking soda. Do not make a solution of apple cider vinegar and soft drinks because these liquids contain a lot of sugar and other chemicals. However, using water and a bit of honey is still the best method of consuming this weight loss vinegar.

Drinking It While You Are On Medication

Apple cider vinegar is a natural substance derived from one of the best-known fruits in the world. Currently, there are no reports of this vinegar causing harm to anyone who is using a particular type of medicine. The only caution that exists is for people who are consuming medication that has potassium as one of its principal ingredients.

Apple cider vinegar contains potassium so it may interfere with the absorption of medicines that contain a high amount of the same mineral. Remember, consulting your doctor when you are taking any type of weight loss product including apple cider vinegar is an excellent idea.
